TouringCaravansForSale.co.uk – Adverts Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all adverts placed on touringcaravansforsale.co.uk. By submitting an advert, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Single Item Adverts

Each advert must relate to one caravan only, sold as a single item for a single price. If an advert contains multiple items, only the first may be shown, or the advert may be moved to an appropriate category.

We will email you after 12 weeks to confirm the item is still for sale. If no reply is received within 7 days, the advert may be removed.

If no email address is provided, the advert may be removed after **4 weeks** of no contact. Single-item adverts remain online until sold, provided you respond to confirmation emails.

2. Business Adverts (Dealers & Traders)

Business listings cost £49.99 per year and include:

  • Placement in the Caravan Dealers Directory
  • Up to 4 photos and unlimited text
  • Free amendments for the full 12-month period
  • Rotating visibility across relevant “For Sale” pages

A renewal reminder will be sent 7 days before expiry. If no response is received, the listing may be removed on or after the renewal date.

3. Website Banner Links (125x125)

Banner links cost £20 per month and direct users to your website. These do not include an advert listing. Banner positions rotate randomly and may not appear on every page at all times.

4. Advert Presentation & Editing

All adverts are reviewed prior to publication. We may edit spelling, punctuation or formatting, and remove excessive capital letters to maintain site quality.

touringcaravansforsale.co.uk is not a party to any sale and accepts no responsibility for:

  • Accuracy of advert descriptions
  • Misrepresentation by sellers
  • Sale outcomes or disputes

5. Trader Declaration (Legal Requirement)

If you sell caravans as a business, dealer or for profit, UK law requires you to declare this. If you fail to do so, your advert may be amended or removed without notice.

If unsure, seek guidance from Trading Standards.

6. Advert Accuracy & Amendments

You must ensure your advert remains accurate for the duration of the listing. Amendments may be requested free of charge.

Repositioning an advert at the top of the listings is not guaranteed following updates. We may reposition adverts based on:

  • Significance of changes
  • Time since last update
  • Current listing volume

A price change alone does not guarantee repositioning.

7. Email Address Requirements

A valid email address is required to receive:

  • Advert confirmation & reference number
  • Notification when live
  • 12-week refresh checks
  • Renewal reminders
  • Scam or fraud alerts

If no email address is provided:

  • Single-item adverts may be removed after 1 month of no contact
  • Dealer/business adverts will be removed at the end of the paid term

8. Right to Refuse, Edit or Remove Adverts

We may refuse, edit or remove adverts at our discretion. If an advert is declined before publication, any payment will be refunded in full.

No refunds are issued once an advert has appeared on touringcaravansforsale.co.uk.

We are not affiliated with any caravan dealership, sales company or manufacturer.

9. Information Requests (Legal Compliance)

We may share information with law enforcement, Trading Standards or other official authorities if legally required. We do not share personal data with third parties for marketing or commercial purposes.

10. Content Standards

By submitting an advert, you confirm that:

  • All information provided is accurate and not misleading
  • You own the rights to all photographs
  • You have permission to sell the caravan
  • The content does not infringe copyright, trademarks or privacy rights

Not permitted:

  • Logos or web addresses on images
  • Image montages or collage-style photos
  • Offensive, inappropriate or graphic content
  • Fake, stolen or illegally obtained goods

11. Age Requirement

You must be 18 years or older to place an advert.

12. Prohibited Items

Items must not be stolen, counterfeit or illegal. The seller must have the legal right to advertise and sell the caravan.

13. Website Availability

Due to the nature of the internet, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. The website is provided “as is” and “as available”.

We are not responsible for:

  • Downtime or service interruptions
  • Technical errors or failures
  • Data loss
  • Misuse of the site by users

14. Copyright & Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks and logos on touringcaravansforsale.co.uk are protected under UK copyright law.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, adapt or publish any content without written permission. Printing for personal, non-commercial use is permitted.
